KeepCam
Light & pool fleetsForward-facing road camera for councils, utilities, corporates and car-sharing. Add a driver camera if you need one.
AI dashcams that spot risky driving as it happens, send you the clip, and fit into the Vectis platform you already use for trips, bookings and driver scores. Driver privacy is built in.
Event clips arrive with the alert, linked to the trip, the driver and the map.
The camera shows the road ahead and, if you turn it on, the cabin.
Drivers see their own events, every view is logged, cabin recording is off by default, and false alarms don't count against them.
Both report into the same Vectis events, footage library and driver scores.
Forward-facing road camera for councils, utilities, corporates and car-sharing. Add a driver camera if you need one.

The forward camera sounds a warning for the driver and logs the event, with its clip, in Vectis.
Closing on the vehicle ahead too fast.
Following too closely.
A pedestrian ahead at low speed.
Drifting out of the lane.
With a cabin camera fitted and turned on by your organisation, it can detect:
A covered camera or empty seat is treated as tampering, not as a driving fault.
The camera detects harsh braking, harsh acceleration, sharp turns, collisions and rollovers. Collisions and rollovers become Vectis crash alerts with the clip attached.
The tracker stays the record for trips, odometer, RUC and logbook. Vectis ignores the camera's duplicate harsh-driving events.
Without a tracker, the camera provides harsh-driving events and the vehicle's live position.
The camera raises an event.
Level 2 events, phone use, fatigue and collisions can alert administrators and pool managers straight away, by push or email (collisions by push). Each organisation chooses which. Drivers get an end-of-day summary instead of alerts while driving.
A short clip of about 10 seconds and/or snapshots, with the speed, map, trip and driver.
Mark it reviewed, record coaching with a note the driver can see, or dismiss a false positive. A dismissed event comes off the driver's score, and the decision is audited.
The camera records to its own encrypted memory cards while the vehicle is on. Nothing is uploaded unless something happens or someone asks for it.
Pick a vehicle, one or more cameras and a time range, or start from a trip and the time range is filled in.
Vectis asks the camera what it holds and shows the available footage before anything uploads.
Each request shows an estimated data size. Set a monthly footage budget; anything over it needs a manager's approval.
Vehicle parked or switched off? The request waits and is fetched when it next powers on. A waiting request expires after 72 hours by default.
Fetched footage goes into the footage library. Every request and approval is audited, and every view and download is in the access log.
Watch a camera live from the web or the Vectis mobile app. One channel in full quality, or up to three at once in standard quality.
Sessions stop after 2 minutes idle or 10 minutes in total, to keep data costs down.
Live view is off unless your organisation turns it on, and it needs its own permission.
Each session records who watched which vehicle and camera, and for how long.
The Live button appears only when the camera is online.
Video of your drivers is personal information. We built the privacy controls first, before we built the camera features.
Before a driver first books or checks out a camera-fitted vehicle, the Vectis app shows your video notice and the driver acknowledges it. We provide a template you can edit.
For viewing event clips, requesting footage, live view, viewing in-cabin video, and changing video settings.
Drivers see their own events and clips, and no one else's.
Every view, download, share and live session is recorded, and organisation admins can see it.
Event clips are kept for 90 days and requested footage for 30, by default. Crash-linked clips and legal holds are kept until released. Deletion is automatic and audited.
When a person's data is erased, their clips go too, unless they are under legal hold.
New Zealand video is stored in New Zealand, and Australian video in Australia.
Cabin audio is off unless your organisation turns it on.
Designed to support your obligations under the NZ Privacy Act 2020 and Australian workplace surveillance rules, such as NSW notice requirements.
Except to fix a problem your organisation asks us to look at.
No continuous cloud upload.
With monthly footage budgets and manager approval over budget.
Lower-quality multi-camera view and automatic timeouts.
Events land on the right trip and driver, even if they arrive late.
Camera events count, with weights you can adjust.
The clip goes with the alert.
The video notice is part of booking and checkout.
Teltonika FMC003 and FMM003 trackers stay the record for trips, RUC and logbooks. The camera adds the video.
Drivers see their own events and clips. People with permission can watch live view on the go.
Online status, signal, GPS, memory card and recording state on the device page, with a warning if a camera is covered or a card fails.
Cameras are fitted by an installer and set up with a Vectis configuration profile, so every camera in your fleet reports the same way. Vectis shows each camera's health as soon as it connects.
Fitting details will be confirmed at launch.
A crash report with clips, speed trace and position, as a PDF.
A clip summary and a likelihood that the event is a false alarm.
Talk to the driver through the camera.
When Teltonika's firmware supports it.
Yes, while the vehicle is on, to encrypted memory cards in the vehicle. It shuts down a few minutes after the ignition is switched off. Only event clips and footage someone requests are sent to Vectis.
Only if your organisation turns live view on, and only people with the live view permission. Every session records who watched which vehicle and camera, and for how long.
No. Driver monitoring looks for behaviours such as eyes closing or phone use. It doesn't recognise faces or identify anyone.
Cabin audio is off by default. It stays off unless your organisation turns it on.
By default, 90 days for event clips and 30 days for requested footage. Clips linked to a crash or put on legal hold are kept until released. Deletion is automatic and audited.
In New Zealand for New Zealand organisations, and in Australia for Australian organisations.
A manager reviews events. If an event is a false positive, they dismiss it, it comes off the driver's score, and the decision is audited.
No, but we recommend one. With a tracker, it stays the record for trips, RUC and logbooks, and the camera adds the video. Without one, the camera provides the vehicle's position.
Only event clips upload by default. Every footage request shows an estimate first, requests over the monthly budget need a manager's approval, and live view times out on its own.
