AI Intelligence
How Vectis analyses your fleet data to surface insights, flag anomalies and suggest actions.
Vectis analyses your fleet data to surface insights, detect anomalies and suggest actions, so you can make better fleet management decisions. This page is a short tour. For step-by-step detail, see Platform intelligence.
AI Insights
The AI Insights page (AI Intelligence → AI Insights in the sidebar) shows analysis of your fleet operations. Insights are generated automatically and cover areas such as cost, utilisation, compliance and driver behaviour.
| Feature | What it looks for |
|---|---|
| Cost optimisation | Vehicles with above-average costs, with suggested actions such as reassignment, disposal or maintenance changes. |
| Utilisation analysis | Under-utilised vehicles that could be reassigned or removed from the fleet. |
| Compliance risks | Upcoming compliance issues: documents expiring, service intervals approaching, registration renewals due. |
| Driver behaviour trends | Drivers with improving or declining behaviour scores, with suggested coaching. |
| Anomaly detection | Unusual patterns, such as unexpected spikes in fuel consumption. |
To review, acknowledge and dismiss insights, see AI Insights.
Fleet Digest
The Fleet Digest (AI Intelligence → Fleet Digest) is an AI-generated summary of your fleet's recent activity. It highlights key metrics, notable changes and items that need attention, such as:
- booking volume and utilisation trends
- top cost drivers and cost changes
- vehicles needing attention (maintenance, compliance)
- driver behaviour highlights
- recommended actions
See Fleet Digest.
AI Assistant
The AI Assistant (the brain icon in the top bar) lets you ask questions about your fleet data in plain language. For example:
- "What were the most expensive vehicles to operate last month?"
- "Which pools have the highest utilisation on Mondays?"
- "Show me all vehicles with expiring registrations this quarter."
- "What is our fleet's average fuel consumption trend?"
- "Which drivers have the most harsh braking events?"
See AI Assistant chat. To ask the same questions from Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, see AI Connector.
Rules and settings
Administrators control what the AI monitors and how people are notified:
- Settings → AI Assistant opens the AI Settings page: the watchdog's monitoring rules, the digest, the assistant, and AI notification preferences.
- Configure rules on that page opens the anomaly rules, where you turn rules on or off and adjust thresholds, severity and cooldown.
