How AI monitoring, insights, the Fleet Digest and the AI Assistant fit together, and who can use them.
Platform intelligence brings proactive monitoring and assistance to Vectis. Instead of waiting for someone to spot an issue, Vectis analyses your fleet data and surfaces insights automatically.
What it does
- Monitors your fleet. The AI watchdog checks your fleet data against anomaly rules covering fuel consumption, compliance deadlines, driving behaviour, booking patterns, maintenance costs and vehicle utilisation.
- Explains what it finds. Each anomaly is described in plain English with suggested actions.
- Answers questions. Ask about your fleet in plain language and get answers drawn from your data, with links to their sources.
- Summarises your fleet. The Fleet Digest is a regular AI-generated summary of fleet health, highlights, concerns and recommendations.

What the AI can see
The AI respects the same access rules as the rest of Vectis:
- Financial data (costs, expenses, FBT) is included only for people with finance permissions.
- Pool Officers and Pool Managers see data for their assigned pools.
- Answers in the AI Assistant are limited to data the person asking is allowed to see.
- Everything is limited to your own organisation.
