Find the right report, run it for a period, export it, and have it emailed to you on a schedule.

Vectis reports turn your bookings, costs, vehicle records and tracker data into tables and charts you can export. This page explains how every report works and points you to the page for each group of reports.

Run a report

  1. Open Reports

    Select Reports in the sidebar. The reports menu on the left lists every report you can run, in groups: Utilisation, Financial, Fleet, Log Book & ODO, Operational, Telematics and System.

  2. Choose a report

    Select a report in the menu. Vehicle Utilisation opens first.

  3. Set the filters

    Most reports use a date range. Select a quick range (This Week, Last Week, This Month, Last Month, This Quarter, Last Quarter, Year to Date or Last Year) or set From and To yourself. Some reports use other filters, such as a year, an As at Date or a number of days.

  4. Run it

    Select Run Report. Reports do not run until you select it, and you need to select it again after changing a filter.

  5. Read the results

    Most reports show summary figures or a chart above a table. If nothing matches, the report says so instead, for example No data.

Export a report

Once a report has results, an Export CSV button appears next to Run Report. The CSV opens in Excel and other spreadsheet tools.

The telematics reports (except Driver Coverage) also have Export PDF, and Logbook Detail has a PDF in audit format. A few reports do not export: the FBT Summary, FBT by Vehicle, NZ Quarterly FBT, Logbook Compliance, Driver Coverage and the Activity Log. To receive a report as a PDF or Excel file, use Schedule reports by email.
