CarPlay & Android Auto

Use Vectis on your vehicle's display for driver confirmation, navigation, driving alerts, voice commands and trip classification.

With CarPlay or Android Auto, Vectis runs on the vehicle's display: confirm you're the driver, navigate, see driving alerts, use voice commands and classify trips without picking up your phone.

Set up and connect

  1. Install the Vectis mobile app

CarPlay and Android Auto need the Vectis mobile app on your phone. Keep it up to date.

  2. Connect your phone to the vehicle

Connect with a USB cable or pair wirelessly with the vehicle's display. Your phone must be unlocked the first time.

  3. Open Vectis on the display

Vectis appears in the CarPlay or Android Auto app launcher. Tap it to open it.

  4. Confirm you're the driver

Vectis asks you to confirm that you're the current driver. This starts your driver session for the trip.
