TechnologyOne integration is available as a custom add-on, set up with Vectis. What your administrator sees and who sets what.
TechnologyOne integration is available as a custom add-on. It is one of the ERP connection types, and Vectis sets it up with you rather than you configuring it alone, because every TechnologyOne environment is set up differently.
The general guides under ERP connections apply to it: asset mapping, schedules, delivery history and alerts.
What you will see
A TechnologyOne connection has a settings form with:
- API style: Data Model API (new installs) or Business View API (existing installs).
- CiAnywhere address: the address of your TechnologyOne environment.
- Phases in this connection: which of the following are switched on: odometer and engine hours readings into TechnologyOne, the fleet register from TechnologyOne, defects and failed inspections as work requests, and usage by cost centre.
- Check TechnologyOne for an existing reading before writing one: a duplicate check you can switch on.
- Profile overrides (JSON): adjustments to suit your environment.
Who does what
- Vectis works through your setup with you and records which API style and phases apply.
- Your TechnologyOne administrator enables what is needed on the TechnologyOne side and sets the OAuth client on the connection's Credential tab, so the secret is entered by your own administrator.
- You map your vehicles to asset numbers and choose schedules, as for any ERP connection.
The phases use the same screens as other connections: fleet register, work requests and monthly usage.
